Dear dCache community,
Patch Release 10 of dCache 1.9.5 (Golden Release) is available for download from dCache.org.
As usual, please make yourself familiar with the release notes. Beside minor bugs,
the following issues have been fixed with 1.9.5-10
- A security issue was fixed in the DCAP door. We recommend all sites
to upgrade the DCAP doors.
- GSI authentication issues with SRM,
caused by an unpredicable behaviour of the most recent JGlobus library. dCache
is now again using an earlier JGlobus version until the problem is understood
and fixed.
- On pools with
-replicaOnArrival enabled, a race condition had some sites
reporting to cause 10% upload failures.
- Since dCache 1.9.3-1, the PoolManager had a bug which caused it to
cluster writes.
- Improvided PinManager behaviour (see release notes)
- Information provider issues (see release notes)
- The SSH admin shell of dCache had an issue on how it closed the
connection to the SSH client.
